The goal of the Supersprint exhaust for the Maserati Ghibli 3.0 V6 turbo was to improve the sound both in closed and open valve mode.

The original exhaust has a very strangled sound in closed mode, and in open (sport) mode it tends to be a bit metallic and not very pleasant and harmonious.

With the new valved silencers, which have a direct flow design in both operating modes and are made entirely of stainless steel with appropriately sized sheets and tubes, the sound is fuller and rounder in every situation, without penalizing comfort.

The aesthetics are similar to the original but improved, with 120x80mm oval tailpipes that perfectly fill the niches.

Unlike other exhausts, including the stock one, even in closed mode there is no restriction to the flow of the gas, without chambers or constriction in the diameter.

The connection to the original valve control system is easy, just disconnect the pneumatic tubes from the original exhaust, and reconnect them to the new system.

The connecting pipes are essential for mounting the rear ones.

We recommend mounting the silenced central section to those who want a fuller sound in open mode, but with comfort equal to the original in closed mode.

The free central section is instead recommended for those who want a more aggressive sound and that makes the song of the V6 perceptible in a more decisive way.

Both components are equipped with an H-pipe (pressure balancing tube that connects the two exhaust lines) for both performance and sound reasons.

Since it is a "catback" exhaust, that is, it does not replace the catalytic converters, there are no problems with warning lights and there is no need for reprogram the electronic control unit.
