The Supersprint exhaust for the Ferrari California Spider 2009-2012 has been developed with the main goal of extracting the best performance from the 4.3 litre V8 engine.
From the factory, std. The headers are already free-flowing, not equipped with the dreaded pre-cats, we went straight to eliminating the main source of restriction, the main R&L catalytic converters.
We redesigned the exhaust from the ground up, moving from the headers back, starting with a set of HJS Motorsport, high-flow catalytic converters, positioned in the same area as the stock ones.
Completing the system is an X-pipe (also offered in a resonated version) and R&L rear silencers, available in multiple Racing or Dual-Sound options.
Thanks to the free-flow layout and the larger diameter pipes, this Supersprint exhaust setup guarantees a massive drop in exhaust back pressure, ensuring stronger torque across the powerband, and more peak horsepower too.
Overall, a big improvement in engine performance and less weight to carry.
A positive side effect of the Supersprint treatment is a throatier and much healthier sound, which can be fine-tuned with the combination of the individual SS components, for an end result that ranges from subtle to wild.
Our dual sound rear mufflers use the same type of vacuum-actuated flaps as the stock system, meaning installation is a simple and straightforward process, with no modifications to the stock ECU required.
Last but not least, the classic and instant Pininfarina design of the California rear bumper section remains unchanged, as our mufflers are built to accept the factory quad interconnected exhaust tips.
