Terminal exhaust with CES3 Capristo valve Porsche 987 Boxster MK1

This system can be mounted on OEM manifolds, it is a simple “bolt-on” installation.

It is equipped with a programmable control unit also called a control box of the CAPRISTO exhaust. The box is programmable via remote control to adapt to the needs of the vehicle or customer. It monitors exhaust gas back pressure and ensures that the best possible performance is delivered.

This system is sold with the CAPRISTO programmable remote control system.

This control unit offers the possibility of individually programming the back pressure you want to have to open or close the valves. The portion of back pressure that results in a loss of performance is filtered out. This way, maximum performance can be achieved.

This sports exhaust combines all advantages in both the lower and higher rpm ranges, as the back pressure can be precisely controlled to allow the engine to achieve maximum performance. The programmable control unit has 3 basic modes to be managed via remote control, namely:

Cruise mode: the exhaust gas valves open later

Sport mode: Exhaust valves open earlier

Open mode: Exhaust valves remain open

Both in cruise mode and in sport mode, you can program individually when the exhaust gas valves should open. A big plus is that the control unit recognizes the operating characteristics of the driver. If the driver accelerates aggressively, our device recognizes this by the type of back pressure that is generated and the exhaust valves open immediately. Normal acceleration results in late opening of the exhaust gas valves.

Made of high quality T309 (1.4828) stainless steel (close to Inconel properties) throughout the system and the entire system is then hand polished to a mirror finish.
