Terminal exhaust silencer with CES3 valve Capristo Porsche 992 Carrera/S - Turbo/S
The CES3 version of this system replaces the OE electric actuators with lockout adapters and then uses vacuum actuators to provide autonomous control of the valves independent of factory monitored control, thus allowing the valves to be left open at idle and open first in RPM align
The exhaust system is designed to be installed directly into existing OEM mounting points
Suitable for Porsche 992 Carrera/S produced from 2019 and 992 Turbo/S produced from 2021
Porsche 992 Carrera/S – Dyno-proven gains of 4.9 HP and 18.7 Nm (4.83 HP / 13.79 lb/ft)
The CES3 version of this system replaces the OE electric actuators with lockout adapters and then uses vacuum actuators to provide autonomous control of the valves independent of factory monitored control, thus allowing the valves to be left open at idle and to open sooner in RPM align
Standard: 451.5 HP at 7098 rpm / 567.2 Nm at 3442 rpm
Capristo: 456.4 HP at 6610 rpm / 585.9 Nm at 3299 rpm
The iconic CAPRISTO valve exhaust system offers the best of both worlds thanks to its ability to produce an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving.
This function is possible using the fins of the vacuum-actuated valves that open and close depending on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruise operation the valves are closed and produce a deeper exhaust note. With the throttle wide open, the valves open releasing the full symphony of the engine.
The new Capristo exhaust valves on the 992 are electronically controlled and integrate the OEM actuators to maintain factory valve operation via Sport Control.
This allows precise exhaust control based on the driver's personal tastes and tolerance without any additional electronics/modules/remotes .
CAPRISTO exhaust systems are designed and manufactured using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping and CNC bending/milling in our factory in Germany. Each system is made of high quality T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sonic resonance, low weight and durability properties which are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).
