Capristo Ferrari F50 stainless steel complete exhaust system
The complete high-performance Ferrari F50 CAPRISTO system conceived as a balanced increase between power, driveability and sound quality, without obviously forgetting a substantial weight loss. All of this is delivered while maintaining the CAPRISTO “best of both worlds” philosophy, which offers the ability to produce an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving.
Ferrari Compatible F50
This system was designed to maximize performance and sound. Featuring decatalyzed Y-headers, fire-ordered tube length, equal-length Y-headers, the Capristo F50 is the definitive header, modeled and technically designed for the iconic platform. The F50 engine above 4500 rpm really doesn't like back pressure, so by using the valves the gases will flow through an unsilenced direct exit channel with some fundamental differences:
The gases they are mixed in an X-tube before exiting, increasing the washing effect and giving the car a smoother and more high-pitched sound. In addition to the new headers, this car will sound sensational and will address some of the criticisms leveled at the "toneless, extremely low/mid-rpm noise" of the competition's engine, the "underwhelming" sound of the competition's mufflers and, frankly, " lackluster sound" of the OEM exhaust.
A small amount of gas even in the open position of the valve will travel through the silenced channel, similar to OEM exhausts. The silencer is optimized so that it is not just a means of dampening the sound at low revs, but also of increasing the howl of the F1 at high revs when just in use.
A note on the X configuration shown in the direct output channel: that "open valve" channel creates more torque at medium and high rpm essentially creating a vacuum for the gases behind.

Each system is made of high quality T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sonic resonance, low weight and durability properties which are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).PERFORMANCE MANIFOLDS:
The headers use a 6-3-1 design and the pipe routing has been significantly modified compared to the stock headers to maximize exhaust flow. p>
CAPRISTO heat shields/blankets:
The headers and the X-Pipe exhaust pipe are supplied as standard with the innovative CAPRISTO heat shield. Heat shields are made of an extremely heat-resistant material, initially developed and used by NASA. This helps reduce radiant heat from exhaust manifolds and sports catalysts. The shields are heat resistant for temperatures up to 1300 degrees Celsius.
Reduced heat or temperature in the engine compartment improves performance. Cooler air boxes result in a cooler air temperature for the engine to "breathe in". In turn, denser air produces more power.
Because the exterior of the hot, glaring exhaust is protected from the surrounding environment, the screens also reduce the possibility of fire which sometimes results from contact of liquids/oil with the exhaust system.

< p>*The exhaust system is designed to be installed directly into existing OEM mounting points**Recommended for off-road and track use only*
Since the F50 does not have dual pre/post cat lambdas, you will not see any CELs.
