Capristo Ferrari F430 Scuderia/16M stainless steel terminal exhaust + catalysts

A cutting-edge valve exhaust system for a perfect fit to the Ferrari 430 Scuderia. The exhaust system fits the Scuderia only and features a 70mm exhaust valve control and allows for increased performance and exhaust note and a gain of up to 20PS over the stock system.

With the valve closed, the exhaust still offers a much more aggressive exhaust note than the OEM 430 exhaust. When the valves open, the sound of the exhaust is greatly improved and will produce a similar sound to the CAPRISTO Racing exhaust.

The iconic CAPRISTO valved exhaust system offers the best of both worlds thanks to its ability to produce an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for driving in the city. At lower engine speeds and during cruise operation the valves are closed and produce a deeper exhaust note. With the throttle fully open, the valves open, releasing the entire engine symphony.

The opening or closing of the CAPRISTO valves is controlled by the engine ECU, so they work the same way the original exhaust was designed to work. The OEM vacuum hoses fit directly into the CAPRISTO valve system.

Alternatively, the optional wireless remote control for the exhaust valves could be fitted, which would provide the ability to open and close valves at the touch of a button. In the closed condition, control is returned to the engine ECU.

CAPRISTO exhaust systems are designed and manufactured using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping and CNC bending/milling in our factory in Germany. Each system is made of high quality T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sonic resonance, low weight and durability properties which are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).

These high-performance sport catalytic converters feature a 250 cell per square inch substrate made from the highest quality materials currently available, designed to improve airflow for your vehicle and increase performance.

The cell count of a catalytic substrate refers to the number of holes per square inch and is a direct indication of the flow capabilities of that substrate. The fewer holes the larger the hole needs to be to fill a square inch, a larger hole subsequently lets more exhaust flow.

All this high flow won't be It helps if the substrate is "squeezed" into a small diameter container or tube. For this reason, CAPRISTO sport cats are packaged in 5.2-inch packages to maximize exhaust gas flow and operation of the valved exhaust system.

IMPORTANT

During installation, it is IMPERATIVE to remove all OEM mounts - you must use the exhaust bracket supplied with the exhaust.

The CAPRISTO-designed mounting works so well that we recommend mounting it in place of the original support system even if the OEM muffler is retained.

Replacing the OEM catalytic converter may activate a Check Engine Light (CEL).

To disable a recurring CEL you will need to put Tune the ECU or use 02 sensor extensions.
