***The factory F430 exhaust mounting bracket has a critical design flaw. The solid attachment to the vehicle chassis does not allow for any thermal expansion. The lack of expansion causes stress to be pushed back towards the engine and results in cracked cylinder heads or catalytic converters. Capristo offers an updated mounting bracket that is a critical element for preventative maintenance. The Capristo design uses four spring-mounted suspension points to allow for this heat expansion (up to 1.5 inches). If the exhaust components have already failed DO NOT replace them without also replacing the mounting bracket with Capristo Design as it will fail again. Both Capristo F430 exhaust systems (valve and free flow) include this mounting bracket.***

These high performance sports catalytic converters feature a substrate for 200 cells per square inch made from the highest quality materials currently available, designed to improve airflow for your vehicle and increase performance. Additionally, Sport Cats include custom hand-sewn thermal blankets to reduce under-hood temperatures, protecting the surrounding body, hoses and painted surfaces from residual heat damage, specifically suited for cell counting of a catalytic substrate refers to the number of holes per square inch and is a direct indication of the flow capabilities of that substrate. The fewer holes the larger the hole needs to be to fill a square inch, a larger hole subsequently lets more exhaust flow.

These catalytic converters can easily be fitted to a CAPRISTO exhaust system or any system that directly fits the OEM exhaust.

Replacing the OEM catalytic converter may activate a Check Engine Light (CEL).

To disable a recurring CEL you will need to tune the ECU or use 02 sensor extensions.
