It is a challenge to develop an aftermarket exhaust for the mighty 911. Akrapovic's engineers have prepared an outstanding system with a dual nature: using the optional Akrapovic audio kit, the driver can fully control the exhaust valves, normally regulated by the car's electronics if no optional parts are used. When the valves are closed, the 911 produces a deeper (but not louder) sound than the original; when the valves are open, on the other hand, the acoustic profile changes completely, with adrenaline rushes at every acceleration, however eliminating any unpleasant resonance. The Slip-On is made from a special heat-resistant and durable titanium alloy, with computer-designed pre-mufflers, main mufflers and pipes to deliver more power, more torque, weight reduction and improved throttle response.
