Manufactured to exacting specifications from high-grade titanium - with parts cast in Akrapovic's in-house foundry - this system uses lightweight materials to reduce overall vehicle weight and optimize power and torque throughout the rev range. Meeting ECE homologation, the design of the system fits perfectly with the lines of the car and the single muffler layout with four superb handcrafted round carbon fiber tailpipes give a distinctive look to the rear of the car. Different sound modes add to the experience, with a sporty, animated roar from the six-cylinder engine when revs pick up, and a more pleasant experience in comfort mode, ideal for cruising with the roof down. An optional Akrapovic Sound Kit is available to control various sound settings, and optional tuning opportunities exist through the addition of the stainless steel Evolution Link tubeset. As in the case of the audio kit, fitting the connecting pipe will invalidate the ECE approval. The ECE approval is only valid for cars equipped with an Otto / petrol particle filter. For installation of the slip-on system, the stock exhaust system must be cut. Read the instructions carefully before starting the installation.
