The Evolution performance exhaust for the BMW M3 consists of dual outlet mufflers, link pipes designed to optimize flow and an X-pipe incorporating sports catalytic converters and 100 cpsi high-flow resonators. The horsepower and torque gains of the BMW M3 equipped with the Evolution exhaust are simply fantastic. Furthermore, the increase is provided over a large area of the power curve, thus increasing reactivity during all phases of riding. Along with a huge weight saving, the Evolution exhaust drastically improves the power-to-weight ratio. The design goal was to generate a deep, rich rumble at cruising speeds, while allowing the driver to enjoy an aggressive roar when the drive level is raised. The look can be completed with a pair of refined titanium or carbon fiber tailpipes. When installing this product, whether with or without a catalytic converter (which you remember are developed for track use only), you must also remap the ECU to avoid potential "check engine light" warning signals.
